Sunny days

We had a great weekend back in my home town this last weekend. It is about three hours from where we live so we didn't get there very early Friday night. But we did get to go to my high school friends house. Our kids played and had a great time and it was nice to get to catch up with her. On Saturday we got up bright and early and went out for breakfast. Yum my favorite meal! After stuffing ourselves we headed to my sister's track meet. Since she was only participating in one event we weren't there long but while we were there it was great getting to see her do the shot put. My grandmother and aunt also live in the same town as where the track meet was held so we got to have a good visit with them as well. The rest of the afternoon we just relaxed and that sure was nice for a change. Scott's mom and her husband came and met us for supper. It was good to see them as it has been a while. We had a great weekend but were also ready to get home on Sunday. We got back early in the afternoon and were able to get our yard mowed. Then it was time to pick up the dogs from the doggy hotel and boy were they glad to see us. There really hasn't been any exciting news with us lately. That is definitely a good thing! We are trying to plan a vacation back to Mississippi to visit Tatum's foster parent but nothing is set in stone yet. We hope everyone had a good weekend! Well I have been working on this post all afternoon and tried to post some pictures from the weekend. I guess you aren't suppose to see them because I can't get them to post, maybe another day.
